Swans Hardware is a true family-run business — proudly serving our community for over 50 years. The name “Swans” comes from our family name, Swanepoel, and so does everything we stand for: hard work, honesty, and family values.

Founded by André Swanepoel and his wife, what began as a small “mom and pop” store has grown into a trusted local name, still rooted in personal service and community care.

Today, Mom and Dad are still actively involved, while their son, IAndre, carries the legacy forward. Over the years, Swans has become more than just a hardware store — it’s part of the neighbourhood’s story. The sons who once came shopping with their fathers are now bringing their own sons through our doors.
